I had an agency (not Huxley) asking me to vote for them in this. They had simply emailed anyone with whom they had had contact in the last year. In my case I had responded to an ad. They had never replied and never retruned my calls. I sent them a snotty email back on the lines of "you've got to be joking"

Here's a thought. A recruitment agency owned and run by contractors. Hire the appropriate sales bods to do the leg work. The contractors do the gigs with the clients. Work done through the agency can be done at a cut price rate, since as shareholders in the co. the divi's from the co. make up for it. Instantly dodges IR35 since all those involved have a 2nd income stream ( divi's ) from the company as well as the contract work done elsewhere.

No I havnt thought it through, it just occoured to me as I read DA's post.

Slight variation that will make you more money and please the clients. Fire all the contractors and hire Indians on work permits and pay them min wage.
