    Anyone here used crunch accounting?

As title, looking for a new accountant, so wondered if any one has experience of this firm?

    Cheers

I have and I would recommend them.

They are constantly improving there platform and they have lots of features that save me a lot of time.

Recurring expenses and invoices being two of my personal favourites.

I like them and if it wasn't for the direction I'm planning to take my business I would happily stick with them.

Their business model and computer system is designed for time based services and I'm planning to move a large part of my business towards a subsciption and I don't want to manually create the invoices.

Theoretically you could do this with the recurring invoice feature we launched this month. Just set up one invoice for each subscriber and set it to repeat on a monthly basis (or however often you want to collect your subscription).

Obviously this would still be a pain if you're planning to have thousands of subscribers, so your mileage may vary!

It wasn't a criticism of the service I seriously like it. A better solution is for an api which would allow me to do what I want.

However if I need to create a solution i may as well make a generic one so that i can make it available to others and if i was to do that there are other platforms i would target first.

Of course, wasn't taking it as criticism! Our development team are actually working on opening up our invoicing API as we speak, so hopefully people such as yourself will have more options on that front very soon.

Been using them for a few months now. Not a good experience and wish I'd never changed from my previous accountant.

In my experience the people you deal with day to day aren't accountants by any stretch of the imagination. I've only spoke to school leavers who didn't seem interested in collecting accurate information and couldn't add up.
