    Eurostaff group

    Hi,

I've started contract with Eurostaff group and now I'm working with them for couple of months. My question is does any body knows something about them? I spoke with the agent on the phone but I haven't seen anybody face to face.

You have been with them a few months and now you ask if anyone knows anything about them? Bit late now isn't it? We should be asking you!

What exactly are you after? There is no point giving you a review of them as you are up to your neck already. Is there something specific you want to know or are worried about?

Never meeting your agent isn't an issue although I would ask how they checked your passport to make sure you are eligible to work in the UK? I have never met the actual agent that got me the gig but I have been to the agents sites a few times.

The agent which hired me left the company. Nobody even drop me mail for that. I sent my invoice but I didn't get reply is it accepted or no. After calling their office the girl on the phone told me that she doesn't know nothing for me and that my agent left. After tree days I succesfully spoke with guy who told me that I can contact him for further questions. So it was unexpected, unpleasant experience and I want to know other peopel's experience with that agency.

Have you been paid since you began your contract?

I hope your communication with them is better than your posting style.

It's normal never to see an agent face-to-face.

One reason is that they may be in a different part of the country to you so it's impracticable to meet them.

Plus the advantage of not seeing them face-to-face is that you don't get given stupid useless things at Christmas with the agency logo all over it, that when you try and drop it in the client's bin someone fishes it out.

In regards to invoicing lots of agencies have admin teams who deal with it.

I suggest you ask your new contact at the agency who you should send your invoices to and make sure you send your invoices to that email address.

I've done several contracts with Eurostaff and never had a problem. Never met anyone in person.

It's quite normal in an agency that really does have more than 1 guy and a mobile phone, that the department that does your admin and payment is nothing to do with the agent that contracted you. Make sure you communicate with the back office (e.g. office@eurostaffgroup.com), they pay your invoices.

I know several of the Consultants at Eurostaff, I've even met them face to face when they've come up to the site I'm working at.

A few of my colleagues are with them and they speak highly of them, I wouldn't worry.

You should meet a representative from the company face-to-face though. Call them up and have a chat with them.
