Interesting stuff. So how would you find which is directly affected and which aren't, say for example, the BBC?

Just a matter of understanding government better and a bit of research in to each area?

We will find out when it is made public...

But all the noise has been about government and civil service. I am not sure how the leap was made between that and public sector. Not sure how / whether local government will fit in.

But the governanace of the BBC probably prevents this kind of government interference. However, pressure could be applied but htat is diferent from a mandate.

Does any of the normal insurance through PCG, etc, cover this potential problem? If so I'd go for it and see what happens.

I don't see how it could as insurance is about investigation.

I am wondering what would happen if you agreed to your supplier that you would put full contract value through NIC and PAYE and then didn't. I did read on the rumour mill that they would ask to see pay slips.

The answer is to put everything through Breeze, which is zero risk.
