Every team is different - but it is ridiculous how many different teams and functions there are. So much duplication and teams just getting lost in this huge web of crazyness. It's the Wild West here - I like it that way but it might not suite you.

Sounds like you will need a shoulder ready for when the next round of rate cuts or contract terminations come. Its normally around October November to meet targets at the end of the year.

Oh well I'll be in the same boat as everyone else then..
But surely as a bank their financial year end will be March 13 rather than December 12??
Most Banks, Barclays included have 31st December as their financial year end.
Oh Ok.. didn't realise that. In any case, I think I'll take the opportunity to work with them if it comes off.. see what the difference is between the financial sector and all the other place I've worked at!
