rate for contract in Stockholm as freelance

    Hi,

I am considering an offer for a contract in Sweden.
The role is in the IT and I have 10+ years experience as system administrator.
As I don't know very much about the market in Sweden, I would need to know if the hourly rate of 500 SEK (55 EUR) gross is something realistic to live in Stockholm?

    Many thanks in advance

    Ethan

Have you looked in to the taxation implications of working over there and what impact that will have on your take home?

I don't think he even knew what a contract was, let alone take one on.. but fair point. well made.

Will you become a tax resident in Sweden?

Depends on how long s/he plans to stay there. I would suggest that s/he ensures the contract has a notice clause.
