      My wife did a teaching practice at a primary school in Reading - she was bitten, punched and at one point a kid threw a chair at her. She simply carried on and handled them somehow!!

      She paid her way through the first few years of uni working as a bouncer in Reading (she is 5'6" and weighed about 8 stone) so I guess that prepared her well.

        Update is, I took oscarose's advice along with others on the terms and just played M.O.O - lets see.

          for anyone that gives a flying one - I pulled a combination of M.O.O and an upcoming operation....

          Worked out nicely. I've just finished my first day at the new clientCo - and gawd it feels good to be back in the thick of it!

          No time to post here tho.... *sniff*
