You'd be surprised at the amount of times I get asked for advice on CV layout. In my opinion, I don't care what a CV looks like as long as they know their stuff on the phone however (as I'm sure you're aware) most applications now go through HR bods and they do a Ctrl+F search to tick boxes. The better the CV, the higher up the list you get, simple.
I know the more experienced you get the more tailored your CV becomes, but for a graduate looking for their first job it can be invaluable having a CV that stands out.Comment
