    Linkedin Talent Packages

Do any of the agents on here use the Linkedin premium recruitment account types?

    http://www.linkedin.com/subscription...ore_end_middle

Apparently there is another option which isn't advertised, but costs $5000:

Has anybody purchased the $5,000 per year recruiter package for LinkedIn? Thoughts? | LinkedIn

Presumably if recruiters are paying this kind of money for access to Linkedin's data, keeping an up to date Linkedin profile might be worthwhile...

My next task after sorting these bookshelves from IKEA is doing my LinkedIn, at the moment my current role on there is 'Tea-boy at Cable and Wireless...'

Linked in profile is definitely worthwhile if you are on the bench looking - had many enquiries this way.

You can even get a professional Linkedin Profile written for you......

Exactly which "recruiters" have paid $5000 for "access to Linkedin's data"?

I've got a friend who runs his own recruitment business and he was moaning the other day about how expensive and not very customer friendly LinkedIn was. He mentioned it was about £4,000 which seems to be a similar figure the the one above. As far as I can tell they get access to the whole database.

I suppose if he is willing to pay £4000 of his own profit it must have some value.

For actively finding people to contact I reckon the paid plans of about £60pm are worthwhile, to get full-names of everyone.

However jigsaw.com seems a lot cheaper.
