    Disguising interview days?

What's everyone's best interview muse to current clientCo? I took a day off for "personal" reasons yesterday but have now been asked to a follow up (and final) interview, next Monday.

Can I justify two Mondays running...

Swift answers please as I could do with letting the gaffer know by COP!

Tell him you're planning to have diarrhea and vomiting next Monday.

Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.

Are you interviewing because the current contract is coming to an end? Then that's their choice, so tell them you won't be in for that reason.

Are you interviewing because you hope to jump ship for more cash? Then tell them anything because you clearly don't care.

Sick day sounds like the best plan if you don't want to be open. Remembr and book lots of meetings so that it looks like you had planned to be there anyway.

Tell them Monday is your new signing on day and you have to bring your good clothes, so that the dole won't suspect that you are working while claiming.

Do they "let" you take a day off for this?

Eh? There's no 'let' about it. I say "I'm not going to be available on day X, see you on day X+1". I don't bill for day X.

                You are a contractor, right?

I can't believe it took so many answers before MrRobin hits the nail on the head. What is this 'letting you have a day off' and giving excuses for being of crap? Jesus.
