I can't believe that 2 of 9 posters took the OP seriously enough to answer it properlyOriginally posted by northernladuk View PostI can't believe it took so many answers before MrRobin hits the nail on the head. What is this 'letting you have a day off' and giving excuses for being of crap? Jesus.

Stick around long enough you will see all sorts of crap on here. You cannot determine the serious ones from the piss take. If this isn't a serious question it shouldn't be in the prof forums. Take it to general.Originally posted by tractor View PostI can't believe that 2 of 9 posters took the OP seriously enough to answer it properly

I've gone with the "Unavailable for personal reasons" calender entry approach.
It's pretty obvious waht I'm upto though so an another poster mentioned, might just be worth coming out with it.Comment

People need to remember their only legal duty is to the the shareholders of the company they work for.

Asked current client beginning of last week if they intended to renew. Client said they didnt know due to budget cuts.
So, activated my cv as Im not waiting to find out on the last day whether they do want to extend or not. Been getting lots of calls this week and client said what are they!?
Said I was looking for other roles as they couldnt tell me they wanted to extend or not.
Taking 'sick' days and asking for an excuse to give is a permie trait. You really should have the balls to tell the client why you wont be in.I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!
