This seems to be taking ages and have currently been waiting 7 weeks. Any help or opinions would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

You may want to read the FAQs above but I think the answer is how long is a piece of string. The FAQ mentions an example taking 6 months but I'm sure that was the exception and not the rule.Originally posted by nik55 View PostHi, new to this forum and the first thing i want to know is how long does sc clearance take, I need this for a job thats been offered, the company that made the offer is actualy my sponser. It does tend to vary a lot, I think it can take 2 weeks, but it has taken me 6 months to get SC clearance.Originally posted by eek View PostYou may want to read the FAQs above but I think the answer is how long is a piece of string.
