              There are all sorts on here including those not in IT but aren't agents of any description.

              BTW loads of jobs in IT now don't actually fit into one specific job title.

                  I switched from coder to BA, BA rates are better and I don't understand this as the work is easier then coding imo, some of the BA's I've come a cross at current gig are cr*p but they have managed to long term contract.

                    I am a BA (clue in my name) but have also done PMO and several other roles (but never developer / coder / techie / etc.)

                    Been working in project land for 15 years, the last 7 of which as a contractor. So in answer to your question "Is there many on here that have had a long term BA contracting career" - subject to your definition of many and if 1 can equal many then YES
                    (As a BA you need to get the specification spot on)!!!!

                      Back to the OP, Started off as a BA and am now PMing, so yes, you don't have to be a coder to contract.
