I have an agency trying to arrange a telephone interview between me and BAE in Barrow for today. The agent hasn't got the name, or job title of the person interviewing AND..... the agency is not registered at Companies House.

Agency goes by the name of Bramlove Ltd (who are not registered at companies house) After a bit of digging I see that they are linked by means of a c/o with Atticus Legal at companies house.

Surprisingly enough nobody from BAE called me, and when I emailed the agent to say that I wasn't too bothered because I can't do any business with Bramlove (due to not being registered etc.) The agent hasn't replied - doubt he will

I have been in the situation where the agent didn't know who was interviewing me before. His contact wasn't the guy I was going to do the face to face with. I had to ask for his bosses name and he sent down one of his minions to do the face to face.

Are you sure the agency isn't an offshoot from a bigger one? Maybe a general agency that is trying to market speciality groups?

You don't get a face to face at BAe being a chancer... I guess the question is does he really have a face to face lined up though.

As for Bramlove being a part of another larger group, well I'm not sure whether this is the case. Bramlove are indeed connected with a legal firm called ATTICUS LEGAL LLP (Company No. 05238325) but so far that's as much as I know.

I would have thought BAe Systems would only have used PSL agencies. Might be worth calling some of the more decent agencies who you know to deal with BAe and asking them if they know of that role there? If yes, ask them to submit you for it.

Agent has just sent me a screen shot, which only confirms that the agency is "c/o" another legal company.

Where would I stand 'if' I was to take up a contract with a company not registered, but with a "c/o" another company?
