I was told by an agent last week that the HR at Credit Suisse has frozen all recruitement (perm and contract)... I hardly believe this is true, but does any one knows anything about it?

That's not good news...
I got a verbal offer from CS few weeks back, but as it stand, nothing has come through yet! Agent said the manager is waiting for HR to sign off.. But I'm not sure whether it's HR that is holding up (ie. frozing all recruitement) or if something else is going on with this manager.Comment

Contracts stuff is all waiting for new IT budgets to be approved, which isn't expected for another couple of weeks, I hear.nomadd liked this postComment

I got an offer from CS on 2nd March and was told that HR and the department manager had already agreed to it. Now they are waiting for the MD to sign it. How long does this usually take with CS? I heard that CS is a bit slow in that matter. Is this true?Comment
