Its not the language its written in thats the issue its just a bit confusing so i have broken it down a bit
Change to what? contractor, bricklayer, circus clown
we all have excellent reputations were we are but he needs to convey this on paper in his CV, Generic skills, there are hundreds of people benched with generic skills looking for contract and perm work, he needs a skill that sets him apart from the others
if its got to round 2 then he was two late applying or the agent just lied to him.
Look at your CV if your not getting calls then this could be the problem as its the CV that will get you your first contact with the agent and yes they have prefered agents for perm roles
What you really mean is does anyone on here work for Morgan Stanley and will you please put in a good word for my husband even though you have never met him

He just applied for a job (100% match for his profile) and called the agent. THe agent told him that there is someoen already being interviewed (round 2) ....so thats out.
Are we not doing something the right way here? How does permie hiring work? DO they have preferred agents for permie roles as well?
The role he just applied for is with Morgan Stanley (we dont know any other details apart from the JD). Will any of you be able to help in taking his CV forward? Lots of good-will guaranteed from the client for brining in a superb candidate (Generic BA - Currently with a dead ibank)
