For once, I agree with you. I don't know about numbers, but asking for this information is totally fine.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishing -

Great Question! and no idea, but I sure hope that Linked-in kills Agents!! apart from TAV as he seems too young/deluded/decent/ripe for a career in healthcare (Delete as appropriate). DA has enough rolex's by now though I reckon, so can go, in pieces!!Originally posted by d000hg View PostDo antibiotics kill leeches?
Got a new vacancy today, as soon as the job goes on our intranet site, i'll be posting it to linked-in, and with a bazillion connections, what's the betting I don't need an agency to fill it?Cloud Computing - Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?Comment

Linkedin is my biggest source of revenue - so far from killing us, it's actually making us stronger.Originally posted by monobrow View PostGreat Question! and no idea, but I sure hope that Linked-in kills Agents!! apart from TAV as he seems too young/deluded/decent/ripe for a career in healthcare (Delete as appropriate). I have certain bits and pieces which go with the job - nice watch, sports car, etc, but not everyone needs to shout about these things - some of us would rather just get on with it - to be fair, both of the above items are quite understated - and that's the way I like it. I've been in the job for about 8 years (maybe coming up 9?) so I'm neither young, or inexperienced, so please do wind your kneck in.
If you don't need an agent - well done - not everyone does.....whilst there is still risk, and it takes away any effort though, agencies will still exist."Being a permy is like being married, when there's no more sex on the cards....and she's got fat."

So you have a signature which tries too hard to be funny and doesn't actually make sense?Originally posted by monobrow View PostGreat Question! and no idea...
Stop trolling. Fine to say you don't find agents valuable, but insulting people (outside General) is a no-no. And it's childishly immature to suggest all businesses don't need agents just because you don't.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

/sarcasm off
my suggestion, let this thread die. Agents are leeches and of no use to anyone except other agents , their family, watch salesmen and D00hg, lets move on.Cloud Computing - Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?Comment

As for your saracasm. There is always more that you can learn, but the average career in recruitment lasts about 4 years. So yes, I am at the more experienced end - and especially within my vertical."Being a permy is like being married, when there's no more sex on the cards....and she's got fat."
