seen a lot of job adverts for local goverment asking for security clearance.how would i go about obtaining this????? i have worked contracts for the police recently but assume this is something more in depth?

I applied for this a month or two back and it only took two weeks to come through.....which was nice.

You will be if you keep dropping clangers like that lol. CRB doesn't need to be there. It doesn't (generally) cause much confusion and doesn't stop people getting contracts. SC clearance and above does so causes lots of questions.Originally posted by brocky View PostI stand corrected.
