    Got offered a contract today, at the interview they knew my rate, andtoday the the client tried to Gazunder me, yep the client not the agency.

    Told em to F right off. I wonder why the last contractor left that role probably?? Spainish *****

      Yeah don't you just hate it when contractors on this board go on and on about getting scr*wed over by this client or that agency, and t hen they don't even tell you who it is!!

      Are you legally bound to forever hide the truth and so allow your fellow contractors to suffer the same fate?!

                Might it be a company with the same name as a port in north Spain at latitude 43.46138 and longitude -3.808389, to which you can catch a ferry from Plymouth?

                  Actually from talking to friends, haggling like this is quite common in Spain. Most job ads (permie positions) don't specify the amount, it's a case of how much they want you. I think the person who started this thread did absolutely the right thing by not accepting.
