    Hsmp - sc

I heard the news through a friend... can't beleive that our govt have given SC jobs to HSMP's when you have many people Qing for the jobs.

This is for HMRC - Telford.

That doesn't surprise me, I have my CV registered and viewable with every UK job board going and it clearly states my security status.

Yet they find more suitable candidates abroad? It's only fair™.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Although it would be interesting to see how an HMSP holder passes the five year UK residency test...

You should send this to the editorial desk at the Daily Mail, it might make news, or maybe not as they all seem to be doing it, plus RBS etc (owned by UKTAXPAYER unltd). Civil servants though are doing it to secure costs savings for the UK ...just don't touch their own perks/pension that wouldn't be right.

I wouldn't send it to The Guardian, it'd be 'good' news to them.

            3 yr WP + 2 yr HSMP
4 yr WP dependent + 1 yr HSMP

            More combinations are possible.

UK is the only country in the world where dependents are allowed to work freely anywhere... not even in US.

More combinations were possible. You can't get an HSMP for IT skills now. You can't transfer a WP to an HSMP either. Theoretically.

Most of these people aren't coming in on HSMPs anyway, but ICTs. Different level of abuse altogether.

                  lol

I dont hear any of you complaining about british companies that are devouring resources from whence the hsmp holder comes from.
We’re given little to no time for proper analysis and design, and, when we ask management about hiring professional testers and setting up a QA process—well, I’ve seen deer in my headlights look less stunned

WTF has that got to do with it except further examples of bad behaviour?
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
