I really like Newcastle - lots to do and a real going out culture. Not that fond of southerners mind you...

I like the place, very compact city with lots to do.
It has plenty of grotty places like every UK city, but I've always found it friendly and the folks approachable. Admittedly as a Yorkshireman I'm not seen as too much of a foreigner to them

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

A great place to work and live! Have worked via contracts on and off for about 5 years there.
