(Wanted to finish this post with a "sleepy" icon, but there isn't one. Damn! )
I'm sorry, but I'll make no apologies for this

And the Contractor's Charter clearly states: "Thou hast the right to sleep once per day within thy clients premises at the contracted hourly rate."

This 'Contractors Charter' - I'm surprised I'd not heard of it. Does it require a thread of its own so people can discuss its contents?

I snore like a b*stard so I physically can't sleep in the toilet and get away with it. Maybe I should add it to my CV as a differentiator!!

Could be worse, at least in the loo had less chance of being noticed.A few years back I went through a period where every client I worked with I was always sat next to or directly facing a contractor who would fall asleep many times a day at their desk so completely in sight of client. They were noticed but for whatever reason, none of them were ever sacked. WAs never a woman, always a guy and usually in their 50's. Last time it happened I just cried with laughter as I couldn't believe it, especially when he started snoring. I actually had to leave the office as my laughter was bring the wrong attention to myself....a new starter laughing his head off when sat by himself and not talking to anyone, why?

The current fiscal climate makes the £20 tulip very difficult, we need to drag it out a bit these days.

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

That's because you've been out of the game too long.

And looking at you current picture, it seems The Bench has not been kind to you. The "former tramp" seems to have slimmed considerably; now you look like Posh Spice.

There are only 2 items in the charter :-
                  1. The right to a decent agent
                  2. See rule 1.

Clearly you haven't read the Charter properly... Rule 14.6 specifically forbids the words "decent" and "agent" in the same sentence.

Gotta be honest, when I was looking for a gig 3 months ago all of the agents I dealt with were pretty nice and proffessional. Maybe I was just lucky this time. Of course there were a couple who having after speaking to them on the phone would send me a linkedin request which a quick press of the delete cured that.
