I always think the public face of a company is completely opposite to the reality. VM more so....

Funny how things change. I almost ended up working in Hook a couple of years ago, until I landed a gig 20 mins from home. Everyone I spoke to when I went down for the interview seemed happy enough, the offices seemed lively and didnt have that dead feel you get in a crap/struggling company.

I've been contacted by various agencies since June concerning the same role at Hook / Trowbridge.

Yep, a 10% cut and there will be no one here...lol

And that my friend, is exactly the reason they'll do it.

They'll then replace them with sub-standard Fixed Term Contractors, based on "intelligence" from a Master Vendor, or Neutral Vendor (seriously - intelligence? There's a misdemeanour there surely!?) - And then they'll blame contractors, taint the name of every contract based recruitment business, and the spiral will just keep getting worse.

I've worked for a "master vendor" as a contractor on a perm salary and it sucked donkey balls big time.

Bad times ahead for sure.
