I'm really not sure why you are taking it all so personally. How is IBers being elite any slate upon you or your skills? You should be happy I love what I do and who I do it with – and that I receive a 40%+ premium on rates to do it at an IB.

I’m just telling it how it is fellas: money talks. You can whinge and moan and carry on all you want, but at the end of the day: look at the scoreboard. The excuses you're all making as to why you're not paid on par is unbecoming.

There is often little relationship between how good a techie is and how much he is paid, you know this right?

I dont take a personally. I am just telling you what I have seen. IBers are distinctingly average or below. JUst get paid more for commuting and putting up with aggression.

If you are not a troll then you have serious over confidence issues. Are you HRH?

I found the IB enviorement to be hostile and staff seemed to be rather unhelpful and vindictive - one of the worse sectors Ive worked in - before the Credit Crunch the rate was appox 25 per cent higher compared to other sector - but once in IB was more than enough for me.

Why IB seems to attract such mediocre and unpleasant people - I simply dont know.

Herd behaviour: it's almost of zoologically academic fascination, if one member of a "team" is seen to be failing the others will turn on him/her/RT(=it).

                1. Grammar's obviously not a consideration in the master race then?

                2. See my previous notes about making more than you.

                3. You're still a twat.

                Thanks for playing.

I thought the main thing that distinguished IB types, form other "types" was drinking heavily while at work, visiting strip joints and snorting cocaine.

Well that's my impression, correct me if I'm wrong.
                  I'm alright Jack

                    Sorry.

Just back from snorting coke from a hookers cleavage.

Actually - come to think back on it - yes Ive never seen as much substance abuse as within the IB environment - quite a few managers where obviously strung-out on powders - thats not a good thing believe me - the more senior your decision making the more dangerous its all becomes ... in other words ... its all fun and games till somebody gets their eye pocked out with a sharp stick.
