I don’t believe it - After all the panic, digging around and speaking to lawyers to review my contract, forking out the review fees etc, seems the stupid HR woman sent me the wrong T&Cs attachements, I don’t believe it!!!
Tried Bauer and Cottrell - my personal experience: really really awful, I would never use them again, total waste of time, and no results what so ever, I am having to go and find someone else now!!
The client changed the contract terms and conditions quite a lot, mainly to do with copy rights, insurances etc etc , I am contracting direct, so I need an independent legal advice on the contract.
Does anyone have experience of a good legal contract review supplier; the ones on PCG seem to do more with the taxation than legal terms.
Also which are the best deals nowadays relating to indemnity insurances etc?
my background is contracts/commercial with experience in IT professional svcs & S/Ware contracts. send me a priv message and we can discuss possibilities.
If you are using the services of an accountant that has specialist knowledge then they may well include contract reviews in their fees, the PCG have a list of Accredited Accountants and they should all know what they are doing with IR35.
Armed with some knowledge and a good review you may be able to negotiate the terms yourself with the client ?
Some other contract review services that havent been mentioned are Accountax, Abbey Tax and QDOS , a Google Search should show them up by PM if you need further assistance to find them.
