A break might do you good : but a break in the legs of those upsetting you will be even more satisfying. -
I make a point of not breaking the legs of the opposite sex.....regardless of what I think of some of them.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostA break might do you good : but a break in the legs of those upsetting you will be even more satisfying. If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.Comment

If you have the reserves than its clearly not an issue; which I suspect you haveOriginally posted by pmeswani View PostIf things were different (regardless of current market conditions), I would agree with you. But it is difficut to work with some people, and is not worth the effort. In any case, having the break would do me good...have the desire to do some travelling at the moment.Comment

I have enough to last me a couple of months...assuming that I don't go mad on the spending side of things.Originally posted by Liability View PostIf you have the reserves than its clearly not an issue; which I suspect you haveIf your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.Comment

Hear, hear - good for you.Originally posted by pmeswani View PostI'm not renewing my contract with RBS. So make some space please.
If the job was THAT bad, rest easy, you have made the right decision. I went through a similar nightmare with Tesco a few years back and walked out acrimoniously. If I'd have stayed, I would have had a nervous breakdown. A few months off left me feeling like a new man. Best decision I EVER made.
Some of the posters around here seem to think it's a simple matter of either being in work or not: it isn't. You physical and mental well-being are much more important. Sometimes life is just to damn short to put up with a-holes and stress, all day, every day, no matter how much the job pays.
I wish you all the best. Have a good long break and enjoy yourself - it's sounds to me like you deserve it.
PS. I've a contracting mate who has just gone back to RBS after a break from them, and he too hates it there now.

It's not the case that I hate RBS.... it's just I hate a couple of individuals in the wider team... If they disappeared, I wouldn't hesitate to come back to RBS.Originally posted by nomadd View Post

How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.
