    Anyone here worked for Capita?

Had an interview with them yesterday and they seem like a decent clientco. While reading up on the usual blurb, I didn't realise they had their fingers in so many pies and have still kept a fairly low profile.

The deal is a 3-6 month contract, money is OK, my only problem possibly, is they want to put me on their payroll for the duration, so I'll accure the 1.5 days of leave per month, pension if I want (I don't want), staff discounts etc.....

As I've not been on anyone's payroll bar my own for the last 10 or so years, is there anything I should be wary of here?

    TIA
Who has time? Who has time? But then if we do not ever take time, how can we ever have time?

You won't be able to claim expenses if its away from home.

I did a couple of months with them last year. Bog standard consultancy group. Not the best organised in the world. Sent to Dublin to do an audit, got there to find out no-one had told the guys I was supposed to audit that I was coming and half of them were out of the office...

Works through my own limited without any problems. ARe you goign direct or via an agency?

Sounds like they think you are a temp, not a contractor. You may need to clarify things.

They're shyte imo. Bunch of shysters. Worked on the CRB project for them and all they were concerned with was making as much out of the client as possible.

They did pay a decent rate but expected 15 hour days at times in return!

Did work for them before they tried it on I insisted I was using my Ltd co, never a problem getting paid.

You'll become an FTC. Don't do it. Avoid working for Crapita.

Working for them ATM and they seem fine to be honest, all going through LTD Co. with no problems.

That being said there are only 2 permies in the building I'm in, the rest of us are contractors so I have virtually no experiance of what the permie side of the company is like.

When I was working for them and had to attend their walton on thames site for meetings, their office was overflowing with cheap asian labour.
