My husband worked for Capita in London. It wasn't like any other IT outsourcing IT company he had worked with before (or since). The people weren't like the "normal" range of IT people (sorry this is hard to get across). None of them were professionals or even geeks.
There were lots of young people out of general school courses or those who had changed careers and done a course in IT (like those ads on TV). It was more like a Jobcentre mix of employees or an Estate Agents (that's the closest we can get to the people).
Having Capita on your CV isn't good. It's an option to consider if there is simply nothing else or if there is something specific that they can train you in.
Just an opinion. It may just have been the staff at this London site as well.
