Erm - process to join appears to be:

1 PM zara_backdog to reveal email address
2 zara_backdog sends linkedin group invite to email address
3 member joins group, no doubt the email address is displayed to zara_backdog in linkedin or
4 if not then unless email address and real name is vastly different would not be hard to guess who is who.

Or did I miss something?

Right - I have created a group - at the moment It is in the directory but you have to be approved prior to joining - this can be changed at any time - looks like I would have to invite you to join the group if not in the directory - so you would have to pm me with email address!
