My SiL set up a business network meeting in Ireland and she has subscribed in order to do a mail shot for the meeting. I am trying to do the same in the UK and so I will join shortly.
She has been very successful and appeared on TV, on the radio and in the paper! If anyone is interested in reading an article on the meetings then let me know.
In the current climate especially, networking is the way to go - agents should be a fall back!!
Has anyone paid for the service yet? I.e. paid to contact folk?
It's a bit much up front if you only want to contact someone out of the blue...
I haven't and agree it does seem a lot, I would me interested to see if anyone has used this as a marketing tool - may ask the question on some of the groups I belong to.
Hum - think they look better with one, must get mine redone i think. One conection of mine uses a professional photo, but he does use linkedin as a maketing tool for himself.
