My SiL set up a business network meeting in Ireland and she has subscribed in order to do a mail shot for the meeting. I am trying to do the same in the UK and so I will join shortly.

She has been very successful and appeared on TV, on the radio and in the paper! If anyone is interested in reading an article on the meetings then let me know.

In the current climate especially, networking is the way to go - agents should be a fall back!!

If you think of it from a "people" perspective, its nice to know what someone looks like.

I started with a photo of me and my kids but then wanted to convey a professional image so now I have one of just me in a shirt and tie!!

I have not and I can't see the point - the ability to spam someone else does not strike me as likely to result in a beneficial response.

I haven't and agree it does seem a lot, I would me interested to see if anyone has used this as a marketing tool - may ask the question on some of the groups I belong to.
