    BT cutting contractor rates now....

    Intranet communication has gone out in error thinking contractors had already been told. Agency have promised to issue details by 5.30 tonight.
    Not looking good.....

          For people working with UK contractors: any rates queries
          Contractors have had a letter re BT rates policy. If you get any queries,
          please refer contractors back to their agencies/resource managers...

                    When you consider that your basic living expenses take up 30-60% of your gross. This assumes you're not over committed on mortgage, CSA etc.

                    Then 30% off your gross equates to 50%+ of your disposible income.

                    That's got to hurt...

                    And senior civil servants are upset at their 1.5% pay rise...
