Well, if it were me I'd be happy to offer you all interviews but unfortunately...

It's my Clients policy that you can provide details of...

- Last company you contracted at
- Why you left
- Hiring Manager's name and phone number
- Names and numbers of everyone else you came across at that company
- Details of that Company's 2009 strategic plan

It's also my Company policy that you provide me with...

- Any other Company that you have interviewed with in the last 3 months
- Names and numbers of the persons at the company that interviewed you
- Details of the projects they discussed with you at the interview
- Names of any friends or colleagues who are currently in contract
- Where they are working
- What they are working on
- Names and numbers of the Hiring managers of their company

And finaly for EAA purposes I'll need...

- Photocopy of your passport, driving licence and library card
- Full address, with dates and times of when you are not usually at home
- Bank Account number and credit card numbers
- Make and model of you car, registration number and photocopy of log book (note: log book not required if vehicle worth less than 10 grand)

Ok, rant over. Next agent who phones me with this bullshlt is gonna get some serious abuse

You've got to be sh!tting me. They should only be asking directly relevant questions, surely?

Here in NL, many agents have now gone from demanding 2 ‘references’ to 4 or even 5 'references' from hiring managers (not just the contractor PM), including contact details etc as a pre-condition to offering the CV to the ClientCo. Quite interesting that the rise in the ‘reference’ requirement should coincide with a serious dip in the market whereby some agencies have lost their one big client. Hmmmm, I wonder why.

They have missed out blood type, medical history and sexual orientation.
