I've decided to start using Linkedin recently (I'd previously held off) and was just wondering how many contractors here have actually gotten gigs via this site?

Have been approached a few times, but nothing has come out of it. This included one possible opportunity in Switzerland... I've been contacted lots of times, and have turned down a few gigs, I think its a good resource. However I don't think I could depend on it.
I guess it depends in which field you work. I do storage/backup/Project Management design and support.SA says;

I couldn't imagine you ever having a hair out of place!
