    Linkedin

I've decided to start using Linkedin recently (I'd previously held off) and was just wondering how many contractors here have actually gotten gigs via this site?
You can lead a fool to wisdom but you can't make him think.

Have been approached a few times, but nothing has come out of it. This included one possible opportunity in Switzerland... Good networking resouce though.
If your company is the best place to work in, for a mere £500 p/d, you can advertise here.

Zilch, nada, nothing. Loads of "enquirers". Not a bean has come from it for me.

Approached twice, responded and heard nothing more.

I've been contacted lots of times, and have turned down a few gigs, I think its a good resource. However I don't think I could depend on it.

I guess it depends in which field you work. I do storage/backup/Project Management design and support.

Had a couple of agents trying to link up with me - obviously to pick off my contacts
