Yes and No. I'm with them currently but I have a very, very light touch relationship with them. No use of their systems, no email, no timesheet system, nothing...

Does that mean they micro manage? Do they let you get on with the job? Don't they recognise your good efforts?

Don't mind there lack of IT capability, no problem I've got my own equipment, as long as they pay the invoices.

Logica good to work for - I presume you mean contracting through rather than as a Permie.

        No hesitation in recommending them.

If you are talking about Logica CMG, I tested some of their stuff when they were CMG Admiral and it was actually pretty good stuff. Spent about 3 months at their place in Derby and they were all friendly enough (Derby was a hole though).

            Yes contracting.

Just wondering if I should do a direct approach or allow the agent to handle.

            So far so good.

No. they don't micro manage me, in fact the complete opposite. I also don't give a toss if they recognise my efforts or not, I'm a contractor.

And, as for them paying the invoices, I don't care about that either, that's the agencies job. As long as the agent pays mine, that's all I care about...

Yah CMG, based in Reading though.

I worked for them in Bristol, and it was an "interesting" time due to redundancies and mergers etc. Interesting work though.

Interesting work is something of a rarity these days not to be quickly ignored.
