I worked with them in Didsbury. Good bunch of people although never had anything to do with any bosses etc. They gave you free tea, coffee or soft drinks too.

I'd certainly work with them again.

I was working for a company once who engaged Logica to do some work for them.

For one "management" meeting they sent some trainee along to "watch as a learning exercise" and then had the nerve to bill for his time and travel expenses.

And half way through the job, with the design work they had done paid for, they decided that they didn't want to do the implementation phase of the project and walked away. (Company wanted to sue, but eventually decide not worth the bother)

That's probably because you found a bunch of guys from CMG I'm told there are still pockets of resistance left in there although many did a runner at the time of the merger

They have just sold off some of their divisions IIRC, so that counts I guess.

Interesting work is something of a rarity these days not to be quickly ignored.

I worked for them in Bristol, and it was an "interesting" time due to redundancies and mergers etc. Interesting work though.

Yah CMG, based in Reading though.

Don't mind there lack of IT capability, no problem I've got my own equipment, as long as they pay the invoices.
No. they don't micro manage me, in fact the complete opposite. I also don't give a toss if they recognise my efforts or not, I'm a contractor.

And, as for them paying the invoices, I don't care about that either, that's the agencies job. As long as the agent pays mine, that's all I care about...

    Yes contracting.

Just wondering if I should do a direct approach or allow the agent to handle.

    So far so good.
