Data Inc UK - consultancy in Reading

is there anyone had business with / worked for?

There is a possibility to get contract with them (they have some City contracts) but they pay a bit less than direct contract.

But I am really suspicious to work for consultancy. I never did but have an impression that all of them are mean sweat shops.

Feedback from personal experience will be really appreciated

    Thanks

If it's only for 6 months and there's nothing else, does it matter?

Very few things pay as well as a direct contract...

Everything has its cost. I am trying to figure out how bad it can be. Stress is very costly for me personally.

Also 6 months is not valid term. I guarantee it will be extended.

I will have to quit in december anyway and get new job in January as I dont want that kind of rate - it is 1.5 yrs step back in my career.

P.S. sorry to mislead. by direct contract I meant - agent's contract. not true direct contract.

If you work through a consultancy, you may find that you end up with the interests of the consultancy conflicting with the interests of the client. That's why I generally avoid working through consultancies.

But how can you get stressed? You do what you do, and if they don't like it, they're free to terminate.
