    No.

Quite the opposite in fact - doesn't it show a degree of D&C that your client can make you do something for no business-related reason...?*

*actually, don't panic - it applies to everyone, permie and contractor, so is not a differentiator.
    Blog? What blog...?

Maybe there are security cleared tax inspectors out there. It doesn't seem too unlikely.

Thought a response of "If I show you my contracts, I'll have to kill you", would be kind of nice.

...what if the contracts are classified? How can we get them reviewed? Anyone know a cleared contract lawyer?
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

There are SC and higher level cleared Tax Inspectors, if you consider how the tax affairs of the large Defence and Ministry contractors are handled there must be.
I can't see contracts being classified beyond the ones between Ministries and suppliers and those will be subject to scrutiny by their respective legal counsels. Contracts for service by individuals and small suppliers won't have the level of detail to require classification.

I can discuss the work and costs I have incurred on projects without compromising security I just have to be cautious.
For a tax inspection the level of detail required wouldn't be likely to have any security impact.
