Does anyone know which company Amec are using to source contractors for Sellafield decommissioning. I know its early days and all that.

They might have to put it out for public tender
I used to work on a web-based application called Contract Tender Management which dealt with all of British Nuclear Group's contracts. All contracts and tenders had to bep ublished in OJEU (Something to with European Union Offical Journal). If you can find any public links then it could get you started.Originally posted by EZ-IT View PostDoes anyone know which company Amec are using to source contractors for Sellafield decommissioning. if its gov't try supply2.gov.uk
emails you all gov't tenders depending upon search options.
If anyone knows anything about tendering I'd be interested in possibly teaming up as a supplier, don't know how possible it is though..Comment

AMEC have their own in house agency called Primat. I have it on reasonable authority that there is likely to be minimal work coming out of AMEC's Sellafield contract for the forseeable future. :-(Public Service Posting by the BBC - Bloggs Bulls**t Corp.

I'll give it a shot, I have a couple of other contracts keeping the wolf from the door, but with all the hype, thought I'd get in there early....Comment

When I contracted to AMEC I got it through their own agency PRIMAT as mentioned by an earlier post

Don't hold your breath waiting for work from this job. They're bidding a huge nuclear job in the UAE which will be worth keeping an eye out for.Public Service Posting by the BBC - Bloggs Bulls**t Corp.

Try searching the vacancies sections of the local newspapers for Cumbria, Sellafield and Carlisle online. You might be able to set up online alerts.Comment
