Lone gun man the rule is no more thab 5/6 of your income.
I don't think this problem can be ignored now, the rule is very clear and is difficult to overcome with a website and a bit of advertising.
I think employing someone for approx £500 a month is a sure way, however that's what it costs.I'm alright JackComment

Sorry just want to clarify.Originally posted by BlasterBates View PostLone gun man the rule is no more thab 5/6 of your income.
That means 1 client must not provide more than 5/6 of your income?
I assume that means in any 1 tax year?
I do not employ anyone other than the wife.
I have a domain name and web site and business cards etc.
I own a UK Ltd which is dormant at the moment but that does offer hardware build and other services even though I have yet to push that side of the business as I am so busy.
So what are the 4 rules exactly?I am not qualified to give the above advice!

I've been checking on the web but it is not clear, I may be wrong about the 4 criteria. I also saw one page from a lawyer that said the catologue is now redundant and they reviewing case by case. Anyway it seems to have changed and you really need clarification from an expert. It's also spooking me at the momentOriginally posted by The Lone Gunman View PostSorry just want to clarify.

Shame that's the cost. Otherwise I'd offer my services as a "Tax reduction advisor" employee at about £500 a month.Originally posted by BlasterBates View PostI think employing someone for approx £500 a month is a sure way, however that's what it costs.
On a serious note, what would happen if three of you grouped together?Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

You're quite right there are ways of getting round this, it is just knowing. I think I just need to grit my teeth.Originally posted by NotAllThere View PostShame that's the cost. Otherwise I'd offer my services as a "Tax reduction advisor" employee at about £500 a month.

Darmstadt I would appreciate a recommendation. I did have a Steuerberater ia few years ago so I'll contact him again and see what he says.

Actually, it occurs to me I could still do this service.
£500 a month as an employed tax reduction analyst, then you take my company one as a management consultant at £300 a month.
Sorted!
Do I have to be resident in Germany for this to work?Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

Yes you need to be registered, you don't have to live there but just have a flat. You could have a small room somewhere, just over the border. Then I'll pay youI'm alright JackComment

So, I could just rent a room in your apartment, for which you charge me £300 a month.

im looking to contract in germany for 3 months, the contract is between my limited and a uk based agency but the work that will be provided is for a german based end client meaning i will be living and providing services in germany, returning 1 or 2 times per month.
As i understand it, as long as my contract is between myco and the uk agency then where i work is irrelevant.. is that correct? The proud owner of 125 Xeno Geek PointsComment
