      If they waited a week, it means they probably offered it to 2 or 3 other people before you and thay turned it down. Not wanting to burst your bubble or anything

                  This feedback thing is difficult with most agents being too cowardly too nice even or too lazy to make the effort. I am quite fortunate because I have a number of people who have little emotional intelligence and tell contractors "as it is" and move on quickly.

                    My first contract was £216 a day. But that was a long time ago. Don't worry, you'll get there.
