    Help finding contracts

Ive been on the bench for a few weeks now and cant get even an interview. Starting to get worried and lacking funds.
Does anyone have any pointers to find contracts in the current climate?
I run searches through the popular job boards but I can imagine the number of people applying through them leaves me little or no chance.

Don't worry about the number of people applying for the jobs. Just make sure that your CV is well written.

I had 5 different CVs depending on the role I was applying for. Occasionally I would amend the closest matching CV to ensure it matched all the requirements in the role description.

I hope this is of some use.

Heading towards bench myself - however I'm seeing the demand a increase... which has me surprised.

What sector/skill do you specialise in?

Thanks ! That could be a candidate for this Friday's Poetry Corner -

Incey Wincey Spider climbed up the water spout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Out came the sunshine and dried up all the rain
So Incey Wincey Spider climbed up the spout again.

To the original poster - nihil desperandum.

After 24 years in this industry my advice to you is - if you are going through hell - keep going - KEEP GOING !

                I'm alright Jack
