Maybe I should wear full clown attire to the interview. If I don't get the job I will sue for discrimination based on appearance. Boomed I think...
Don't ask Beaker. He's just another muppet.

Had another interview this morning. Went very well, but the guy told me I look half my age. That would be 14. It was for a project director contract. Hmmm...

Got another one this afternoon with a Gov agency.

Off to buy a fake beard and glasses now.

So far I've been wearing a suit and tie. The tie doesn't seem to be working for me. Tie or no tie this time?
Time to get grey highlights. That way you won't look like a school boy dressed up.

Just don't overdue it and end up looking like Philip Schofield!

A simpler more enjoyable solution may be to go on a 48 hour bender prior to the interview. Lack of sleep and a hangover always makes me look older than I am.
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

Tie every time. But which knot do you use? And how well do you tie it? I tie does not automatically look smart if it is not tied well.

I keep meaning to learn how to tie the Windsor knot because all I can manage is the "four-in-hand" knot that my Mum taught me when I started school, but haven't got around to it.

How did he know your age???

If that came up...then game over the contract is yours. If they don't give it to you...then go for age discrimination.

As for the tie...in banking anyway, forget it..no one wears ties.

He asked my age. I didn't think anything of it at the time...

Full windsor for me, with a little dimple at the top of the long bit where it meets the knot. Skinny ties seem to be in at the moment, but I'm not a fan. I think you need to have the whole Pete Doherty look going on to pul it off.

There are some online tutorials on the web about how to tie a tie with all the different styles.

It is the one obstacle that I cannot get over.

In everything else I do, knowing what the end result should be and following some instructions to get there is a doddle. But for some reason, learning to tie a tie in a new way just causes me no end of grief.

Back on topic. If your tie is tied with a well presented full windsor knot, then that is not the problem.

unless it's in the banking sector, where wearing a tie is frowned on..
