I am currently 1 year into a role as Programme Test Manager for a major financial organisation. My contract has been extended until May 08. All well so far..... however, I have already scoped out and managed all of the testing to date with only negligible amount left to do. Herein lies the problem.....
I really don't see myself adding a huge amount of value between now and May (maybe even longer as the 'go-live' dates are likely to move to Sept/Oct). The client is adamant that they need me but at the moment, I am doing 2 hours work max per day but billing for a full day.
So, do I;
A- Keep taking the cash whilst slowly dying of boredom or
B- Look for something else more interesting.
Anyone else found themselves in this position?
