    There is no such thing as 'the market'. It's just a construct of perception that some people feel cosier inventing because they can't be bothered to plan their business. (in my opinion)

      Dude, no one will give you a senior role if you go in at a rate that low. Either ask for money or take a junior role at £400, you can't have it both ways.

        I'm in IB/.Net. I have two six hundreds on the table and had to push many specs back. Most guys I know have also pushed above the 6 mark. All looks rosy to me.

          Probably worth noting that I'm in the South West where rates are somewhat lower than London. Junior roles paying £250-£300 max with £400 being at the top end of senior roles.

              Certainly there are computers and also a rather better quality of life than just putting up with the daily city grind. I did ten years in London and I know that I don't want to go back thanks!
