    'Time-sheets'

    Hi

Even though I shall be invoicing the directly, the agency wants a time-sheet. The contract is out of IR35 but surely filling in a time-sheet does not help this does it?

I have put this to the agency and they said I can just fill out the number of days worked.

    Any opinions on this?

    Thanks.

Just copy them the invoice to the client that should show days worked / charged for anyway.

If you don't document the number of days worked how do you expect them to know how much to pay you?

The agency is not paying me. The client is. I will be invoicing the client, but for some reason (I expect charging reasons), the agency wants a 'time-sheet' with the number of days I am working per week.

I have a timesheet, where I fill in the hours I arrive and leave, plus breaks.

The total, though, is the number of days worked - I discussed this with the client and said that I don't work by the hour, it's by the day or not at all.

IR35 is more about how you work, rather than what you put on a timesheet. Put in some random hours as a defence (i.e. the paperwork is irrelevant, it's the work that is important).

Why are you using an agency if you are invoicing direct to client ?

            Doesn't make sense ??

Why is the agency there then ?

                Must be DA.

The agency got me the role but the contract is direct with the client.

But if the contract is direct with client and the client pays you money directly, why are the agency getting involved? It is no longer anything to do with them....

                    Sounds a bit fishy tbh....
