As opposed to not getting the ones where no other candidates are involved?I do tend to get offered most gigs I go for when other candidates are involved.

It's never occurred to me before, but will immediately take this approach...Otherwise, it's first to be interviewed. That way, when the pimp rings for a briefing on how the interview went I do take the call and then say something wildly misleading that is likely to put the other candidates in a poorer light with the interviewer. I usually say, that my aggressive stance on certain matters seemed to go down well as I sensed that a textbook interview style isn't what they wanted, or else I will say that I took the risk and actually spoke terms at the interview which was also positively received (when I didn't and felt that it would be a bad move if I did). Anything that is likely to drop the other candidates in it and not be offered.
Ta, Denny.
