In the end I couldn’t get the rate I wanted so I turned it down and took another permie position instead!
Not surprising - for tech skills the Netherlands doesn’t pay well compared to the UK

I had a read through some of the old threads - I am pretty curious as to what happened with Jason getting banned etc. but I can ask him that when I see him!

My client is in The Netherlands but I will be going over there a few days a month and the contract is deep inside IR35, no way to argue otherwise.,

Can anyone recommend an accountant who would know about the post Brexit admin that would need to be done for me to not shoot myself in the face with this one?
I'm sure others will make the same point but for a foreign client who is not subject to British tax law, then it is you who decides if it is inside IR35 or out. You only need to argue with yourself, and I am sure you are easy to convince.

As my own accountant, I often ask myself if I can claim for this or that, and the answer is always yes.

As my own accountant - I ask myself could I justify this if HMRC came calling and often end up answering No you can't claim XYZ as a business expense.
