    That's even better!

Also a whole area of tax avoiders, which will make every contractor feels at home

      Thank you all.

Yes - it is primarily a choice between a short term contract in London with no possibility of extension vs a perm role in Zurich on a slightly lower salary.

With the contract, I am unsure how the market will be in 2021 in the face of Brexit, IR 35 and Covid. Same factors might affect Zurich too.

The Swiss government is marginally more competent than the UK. I know where I'd rather be in any kind of crisis.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Better than utterly and totally piss poor. Stay in the UK if you want to. Borders close in 31.12.2020. Book early to avoid the rush.

We have a deal with Switzerland though. So I can come and join you anytime
Not for 850 chuffs a day though.

There is a deal. There will be a few thousand permits set aside for Brits. But the employer will still have to justify the employment. At the moment that's not the case.

                    It's an alternative fact.

As stated 125Kchf is not good, but I think it depends on other things, not just the money, for example if you are single or have a partner who wants to start a new life it could be interesting, and you could always jump ship after 6 months when you know the Swiss job market. On the other hand, if you have 3 kids at a critical time for schooling it might not be such a good idea!!

The best time to start working in Switzerland was in the middle of the lockdown, saw a few contracts then for 1600-1800chf per day!! Due to the fact that they could only source people from within Switzerland!!
