I thought immigration was the job of the home secretary though? That said, Priti Patel also has strong Indian ties, and is often pictured shaking hands with Narendra Modi. That said, she is at the right of the Tory party, and has defended us strongly against Europeans. But will she defend us strongly against Indians? Not sure. Or maybe she doesnt care, and just goes along with big companies saying they have "skills shortages". Not sure.
